  • RPM Steak had a busy Saturday night, hosting the likes of: 
    • Rapper-actors 50 Cent and Ludacris (separately) 
    • Skills contest winner and player for the Miami Heat, Bam Adebayo
    • Kardashian BFF, FoodGod (aka Jonathan Cheban)
    • For the third night in a row, Bears player Khalil Mack
    • LaMorne Morris, actor in New Girl among others, who was also spotted at Dance Studio that same evening to catch Shaquille O’Neal’s DJ set
    • Actress and Food Network celeb Tiffani Thiessen dined at Ramen-san earlier in the day (and Sushi-san just the day before) before a dinner Saturday night at RPM Steak
  • Nearby at RPM Italian:
    • DJ Khaled, the award-winning DJ who performed the half-time show of the NBA All-Star Game, dined with a group of 11 friends
    • Chart-topping singer and dancer Normani
    • Monty Williams, head coach of the Phoenix Suns
    • Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert
  • Rapper / singer Jidenna and Carmelo Anthony of the Portland Trail Blazers dined at RPM Seafood following a video shoot they did that day
  • Anthony “Spice” Adams, former NFL player, co-host of “The Great American Baking Show” and player in the Celebrity All-Star Game, dined at Aba
  • New nightclub Dance Studio saw a lot of excitement during Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal’s DJ set that night, where the former NBA star deejayed under the name “Diesel” and paid tribute to the late Kobe Bryant
    • Also there to catch Shaq’s DJ set were Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sean Bunting, actor LaMorne Morris and FoodGod Jonathan Cheban

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14

  • RPM Steak hosted perhaps the biggest guest of honor last night, former President Barack Obama, who dined with a small group in the mezzanine level of the restaurant. He took pictures with several guests as well as two RPM Steak servers (photo attached; courtesy of RPM Steak). Obama approached LA Clippers’ Patrick Beverely and the two had a brief and friendly exchange.

    • Rapper and NBA Celebrity All-Star Game player, Quavo, dined with rapper-girlfriend Saweetie 
    • Country singer and NBA Celebrity All-Star Game player, Kane Brown, dined with 15 others
    • Bears player Khalil Mack
    • LA Clippers’ Paul George 
    • Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan 
  • Meanwhile at RPM Seafood, several professional athletes and VIPs included:
    • Carmelo Anthony of the Portland Trail Blazers dined in a private dining room with a dozen others
    • Rapper Lil Jon dined here before his DJ set at Dance Studio
    • Anderson Paak of Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals dined with his manager 
    • Rapper Trinidad James
    • Actor and entertainment reporter Terrence J (who worked on E! News with RPM co-owner Giuliana Rancic, who stopped by the table for a bit with husband Bill Rancic)

  • At RPM Italian, Houston Rockets player PJ Tucker and former NBA player and current ESPN analyst Paul Pierce (dining separately)

  • Attending a private party at Aba in the West Loop was Governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker; Mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot; and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13

  • RPM Seafood welcomed several celebrity guests on Thursday, including:
    • Singer Miguel with model-actress wife, Nazanin Mandi, and several others, as seen on his Instagram story
    • LA Lakers center / power forward Anthony Davis, who dined in a private room with 20 guests, including his kids and relatives 
    • Award-winning actress and comedian, Joan Cusack
    • Carlos Boozer, two-time NBA All-Star (Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers)
  • Meanwhile, RPM Steak played host to:
    • LA Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma
    • Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers
    • Orlando Magic’s Aaron Gordon 
    • Chicago Bears’ Khalil Mack
  • Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals were out on the town once again at tiki bar Three Dots and a Dash
  • NBA All-Star Jameer Nelson dined at Sushi-San
  • Chance the Rapper sang a new song he’s working on during a private party at Dance Studio. The event, which was for Bacardi Rum, was hosted by actor Omari Hendrick who read a poem to the crowd about the late Kobe Bryant 

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12

  • Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals dined at RPM Italian as a group of 6
  • NBA legend Kiki Vandeweghe as well as Miami Heat deejay, DJ Irie, dined (separately) at RPM Seafood 
  • Also at RPM Seafood for a boys night out were Chicago P.D. actors including Eriq LaSalle, Jason Beghe, Jesse Lee Soffer, Laroyce Hawkins, with Laroyce playing in Friday’s NBA Celebrity Game
